Bowling and Fielding Departments:
They also have a quality bowling line up with the likes of the captain himself Jason Holder, Devendra Bishoo the leg spinner, pace bowler Oshane Thomas, Kemar Roach with his express pace, Ashley nurse as the off-spinner and Fabian Allen. These type of bowlers can win you matches and can turn things around in no time so having them is pretty much decent. Their bowling line up pretty much seems balanced and has the potential to outplay any opposition batting side.
Looking at the other departments, the West Indies also have a number of experienced and quite remarkable all-rounders. Starting with Carlos Braithwaite, the hero of the 2015 T20 world cup where he bashed Ben Stokes for 19 runs in the last over to seal the historic victory. Then with the likes of Keemo Paul and Darren Bravo, not only their bowling department gets a boost but this helps them in their batting too.
This squad has 2 wicketkeeper-batsman Nicholas Pooran and Shai hope. So in case, there’s an issue with the keeper, they still have an option. The West Indies are all set to play the World Cup 2019. Going into the World Cup with high hopes after showing decent performance and attitude against England in the recent ODI series. So West Indies can be dangerous and a bit sloppy but in their day, with the type of players they possess, any match can be won. They have a well-balanced team and hard-hitting batsmen in their team which can destroy any opposition bowling line up.
